SRINAGAR, Oct 14: Over 1200 patients today availed medical treatment at free medical camps organized by Army in South Kashmir areas.
A defence spokesman said Army at Devsar continued for the third successive day providing help to over 200 patients. In another camp at Bunera, Pulwama a medical team of a surgical specialist and a Gynecologist benefitted over 1000 people, he said.
He said on popular demand from the youth, sporting events are also being regularly organised by the Army. “The Chinar 9 Jawan Club Behibag, Kulgam organised one such Volleyball match today which saw a very healthy participation from the local youth,” the spokesman said.
He said all these interactions are also optimised to share awareness about various employment opportunities that could be availed by the youth.
