The BJP Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed two years in office. The party got massive mandate in the National Elections that were held two years back in the country. During these years, we did not come across even a single allegation of corruption at a high place in the Centre. We were very disappointed after Bofors, 2 G spectrum, Common wealth games and the latest Augusta westland corruption cases. There are many more to complete the list. The bottomline is at least corruption free era has been ushered in. We have received foreign investments in railways, roads, shipping sectors and in other programmes. Google has for the first time included whole of Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh in its maps.
Again an achievement for the Govt prices of essential commodities remained balanced. Except some lentils, majority remained under control. It is also because of low global oil rates. In the electricity sector, atleast some progress has been made as more and more villages have been electrified. In the medical education sector Government is committed to bring NEET, to admit undergraduate and postgraduate students in both Govt and private Medical Colleges of the country. In this scheme thousands of students will stand benefitted. Several welfare schemes have also been launched in the country.
