JAMMU, Jan 5: RS Pura police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen carets filled with cold drinks.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Ranjeet Singh, owner of a cold drink agency that some of crates filled with cold drinks have been stolen by some unidentified persons from the agency store.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 3/16 under Section 379 RPC was registered at police station RS Pura and manhunt was launched to nab the thieves.
On specific information, a team from RS Pura police station conduced a raid and arrested two thieves.
The accused have been identified Ranjeet singh alias Mohan of Dablehar and Gagandeep Singh alias Kaka of Gagiaan, RS Pura. On their disclosure, police recovered 21 crates filled with cold drinks.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura police station Inspector Bhushan Singh Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
