JAMMU, Mar 10: Police arrested two thieves with stolen items.
As per police sources, On 09/03/2022 two different written complaints cases under FIR numbers 23/2022 U/S 379 IPC and 25/2022 U/S 379 IPC got registered at Police Station Gharota that the batteries of three different mini-buses were stolen by unknown thief/thieves from the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota.
On this, different teams were constituted.
Based on human intelligence and technical inputs, police arrested the accused persons namely Sushant Sharma, S/o Naresh Kumar R/O Jaraka Mohalla Jain Bazar Pacca Danga Jammu and Raghu Raina, S/o Rakesh Raina R/O House no. 113, Afgana Mohalla near Oriental Academy Pacca Danga Jammu and recovered the 4 stolen batteries on their disclosure.
The said thieves were found to be involved in various theft cases. More recoveries are expected to follow.
The whole operation was carried out under the guidance of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
