Two thieves arrested, stolen CCTV cameras recovered

DODA, May 6: Bhaderwah Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen CCTV cameras from their possession.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged by a lady namely Vijay Sharma, wife of late Shakti Sharma of Sungli with Police Station Bhaderwah regarding theft of 2 CCTV cameras from her house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 68/2022 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah led by SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal and assisted by PSI Nishant Salgotra and PSI Bhupinder Sharma was constituted.
The team did hectic efforts and finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Ranjit Kumar, son of Rakesh Kumar and Sunil Kumar, son of Jaswant Singh, both resident of Kach Nalti Bhaderwah.
On their disclosure, the stolen CCTV cameras were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The recovery and arrest were made under the supervision of Abdul Ghafoor Mir, SDPO Bhaderwah and Mohd Aftab Additional SP Bhaderwah.
