UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: In a tragic incident, two teen aged boys drowned while taking bath in Chabba Nullah at Bini Sangam Sudhmahadev Chenani, here today.
The deceased were identified as Sahil Kumar (17), son of Babu Ram of Chani Morh Udhampur and Ravinder Chand (16) son of Subash Chand of Bain Chabba.
They were taking baths in the nullah along with another friend this afternoon around 3:15 pm when they slipped into deep water. On being informed, Chenani Police launched a search to locate the bodies, which were fished out after three hours and then shifted to Sub District Hospital Chenani for Postmortem.
Chenani police has registered a case under relevant section of law and started investigation.
