Two Pak intruders nabbed

JAMMU, Oct 2: A Pakistani infiltrator was shot at and injured by the troops when he was trying to sneak inside the Indian territory from near Shakti Post in Pallanwalla area of Akhnoor sector on the Line of Control (LoC) this morning.
Reports said troops opened firing as soon as they observed the movement of an infiltrator on the LoC close to their Shakti Post. The intruder sustained two bullets marks and fell down. Troops of JAK Li deployed in the area captured him.
Later, he was admitted to hospital.
Reports said that identity of the Pakistani national hasn’t been ascertained so far in view of bullet injuries caused to him. Some Pakistani currency and a key were found in his possession.
Pallanwalla police has registered a case against the Pakistani infiltrator for further investigations. However, the motive behind his infiltration attempt has not been ascertained so far.
Sources said the infiltrator would be interrogated only after his condition improves.
Meanwhile, troops arrested another intruder Shafiq-ul-Rehman when he entered into the Indian territory from Sabjian sector in Poonch district. He is being questioned.
