JAMMU, Sept 21: Government today nominated two officers in respect of Public Works (R&B) Department as ‘Welfare Officers’ as provisioned under J&K Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS).
The officers who have been nominated as ‘Welfare Officers’ are Naseema Nazir, Deputy Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department, Kashmir and Farooq Ahmad Malik, Deputy Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department, Jammu.
These ‘Welfare Officers’ will appropriately counsel, facilitate and process compassionate appointment cases/grant of monetary compensation in favour of the dependents of the deceased Government employee retiring on invalid pension in terms of the procedure set out in the J&K Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme.
