RAJOURI, Sept 21: The students studying in various ITIs in district Rajouri and Poonch are suffering badly as many posts of instructors are lying vacant in these institutes.
ITI Rajouri is one of the important institutions, where children come from far away areas to learn and excel, but the journey of learning becomes harder without a teacher.
Qualified candidates have been engaged in guest lectures on fewer wages that too on convenient basis. Number of vacant posts are available at ITI in Rajouri- Poonch but no one is paying heed to these institutions.
There is need of permanent, well qualified and well trained staff in these institution for the betterment of those students who joined ITI with a hope to be a productive member of society.
Without well trained staff what student will learn if there are no staff members in these ITIs. Ober 70-80 % posts are lying vacant in these institutions. Under such circumstances skill development slogan will be a cruel joke with the youth of this border belt.
