BHADERWAH, Nov 1: Police today arrested two narcotic smugglers along with 96 bottles of intoxicants.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Bhaderwah police station led by SHO Bandeshwar Manhas laid a naka on Bhaderwah-College link road and intercepted a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02-AG-2929.
During checking, police recovered 96 bottles of intoxicants and arrested two narcotic smugglers, who have been identified as Ishtiaq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Qadir of Saraf Mohallah and Rashid Zaffar, son of Zaffar Iqbal of Sadika Mohallah.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
