JAMMU, Oct 25: Gangyal police today arrested two drug peddlers with intoxicants and heroin.
“A police party of police station Gangyal during patrolling at Gangyal Garden intercepted two persons who were roaming in suspicious circumstances,” a police official said, adding on checking 255 banned injections was recovered from the one and 10 gram of heroin was recovered from the second person.
He said the accused were identified as Himalya Sharma son of Pardeep Sharma, resident of 577-A Gandhi Nagar and Lovejeet Dogra son of Som Nath Dogra, resident of Kotla Pind, Bishnah (at present Digiana). “The police has taken cognizance and registered a case FIR No 120/2019 under Sections 8/21/22/29/NDPS Act,” he added.
The arrest and recovery was made by the police team led by SHO, police station Gangyal, Inspector Sunil Jasrotia.
