JAMMU, Sept 1: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) today arrested two more Pakistan-trained militants who were absconding in police records from Doda district for last over 30 years but were running their businesses.
They have been identified as Firdous Ahmed Wani son of late Ghulam Mohammad Wani R/o Ghat Doda and Khurshid Ahmed Malik son of Mohammad Amin of Bharat Doda.
Both of them were Pakistan-trained militants in early nineties and were involved in terror activities.
With these arrests, total number of militants nabbed by the SIA who were wanted in police records but were running their businesses has gone up to 10. Eights such militants including a Government official were arrested yesterday.
Drive against the wanted militants will continue, the officials said.
