JAMMU, Feb 21: Bakshi Nagar police today reunited two missing persons with their families.
“Two different complaints were lodged at police station Bakshi Nagar, by the legal heirs of a boy namely Shubam Verma son of Joginder Verma of Rajpura (Jammu) and a girl, stating that they went missing from their respective homes,” a police spokesman said.
He said, accordingly two different missing reports vide DD Number 07 dated 13.02.2021 of missing boy and DD Number 21 dated 12.01.2021 of missing girl, was registered at police station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
“Special police teams under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar were formed to trace the missing persons. The team led by SHO police station Bakshi Nagar Inspector Harjeet Singh did hectic efforts and traced both the missing persons,” the spokesman said, adding, subsequently families of the missing persons were informed and both the traced persons were handed over to their respective family members after completing all the legal formalities.
