Two missing girls reunited with families in Ramban

RAMBAN, Mar 11: Police in Ramban District claimed today that they have reunited two missing girls with their families.
A police spokesperson said that on February 14, 2023, a written complaint was lodged in Police Station Ramban by one Bahadur Chand of Jhatgali, Tehsil Rajgarh, Ramban, claiming therein that his daughter went missing.
On this, he said, an FIR under relevant sections of the law was registered in Police Station Ramban and later, after hectic efforts and based on technical assistance, the missing girl was traced out on March 5, 2023 and handed over to her family members.
In another incident, the police spokesperson said that a written complaint was lodged in Police Station Ramban by one Farooq Ahmed of Seri, Ramban claiming therein that his daughter went missing.
“Accordingly an FIR under relevant sections of the law and registered and the acting swiftly on information, the missing girl was traced out from Banihal area within hours and handed over to her family members,” he said.
The families of the missing girls have appreciated the police in Ramban District for their efforts in tracing out the missing girls.
