JTC, SKF highlight migrants problems

JAMMU, Mar 11: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front J&K was held today under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita at Jagti township Nagrota near here, today.
Addressing the meeting Pandita said that the Government is doing great injustice with the Kashmiri Pandits who had been forced to live in exile for 33 years.
Pandita said that the Kashmiri Pandits/migrant relief holders are worried about the rising inflation while the monthly cash relief of relief holders is quite low which needs to be increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 immediately.
Pandita said Kashmiri Pandits putting up in Jammu and different parts of India have suffered a huge loss in shape of crops as they could not cultivate their agriculture fields in last 33 years. He demanded a lump sum compensation for the same.
Pandita also demanded security to all package employees serving in Valley besides free accommodation to them and release of salaries of previous months.
