Two male dead bodies found

JAMMU, Nov 19: The dead body of a Class IV employee of Sericulture Department was recovered today from a canal in Bishnah area while an unknown male body was recovered from a nallah in Gadigarh area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, some locals today spotted a male dead body with some injuries in Pandorian Canal and informed the police. He said that a police team from police station Bishnah reached the spot and shifted the body to Sub District Hospital, Bishnah for identification/ postmortem.
“The deceased was later identified as Vinod Kumar son of Nek Ram, resident of Laswara (Bishnah). He was a Class IV employee of Sericulture Department”, the official said, adding, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in the case at police station Bishnah.
Meanwhile, the dead body of an unknown male of age about 30-35 years was recovered from ‘Ganda Nallah’ in the jurisdiction of police post Gadigarh. The body, which appears to be of a Nepali man, was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem. In this connection, inquest proceedings have been initiated by the concerned police.
