JAMMU, June 1: A young boy and a young girl today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to police sources, a 19-year-old boy namely Nitin Malla son of MK Malla, a resident of Barnai today consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), Jammu.
Similarly, an 18-year-old girl identified as Sheetal Chib (18) daughter of Ajmer Singh, a resident of Akalpur, also consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to GMC&H for treatment.
The condition of both was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
