JAMMU, June 2: Sainik Colony police today seized two Mahindra XUVs with same registration number.
As per police sources, information was received regarding two Mahindra XUVs using the same registration number.
Acting accordingly over the information, a team from Police Post Sainik Colony led by SI Sainik Colony seized both the vehicles using the same registration number JK01T-7347. One of vehicle was seized from Sector C, Sainik Colony, while the other from Gujjar Colony.
It appears that forged documents have been used to duplicate the registration number.
Both the vehicles have been seized and a case under FIR Number 79/19 under section 467 and 468 RPC has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat.
Further investigation into the case is in progress.
