Srinagar, Feb 16: Two labourers were killed after a slab of an under construction house collapsed in Zaldagar area of Old City here this afternoon.
An official said the duo identified as Abdul Majeed Sheikh and Farooq Ahmad Sheikh came under the slab and died instantly even as they were removed to nearby Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital.
The duo hail from Housing Colony Bemina and are said to be cousins. The incident created panic in Zaldagar and its adjoining areas as large number of people rushed to the spot.
