KATHUA, Sept 7: A woman was today injured after the scooty, which she was driving was hit by a motorcycle near Nagri Parole.
The lady identified as Veena Devi, 35, wife of Kuldeep Singh of Saidhpur, Nagri Parole in Kathua district was on her way to Kathua from her village when the accident took place. She was first taken to DH Kathua for treatment where from doctors referred her to GMC&H Jammu for specialized treatment.
The Kathua police has seized the bike but the biker managed to escape. The police has also registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
In another incident a migrant laborer who was removing shuttering of an under construction house at Channrorihan near here today was injured after some wooden sleepers fell on him.
He has been identified as Mani Ram. He was first taken to DH Kathua where from doctors referred him to GMC&H Jammu for specialized treatment.
