JAMMU, Aug 5: Two persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in the city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Kundan Lal (56) son of Nand Lal, a resident of Badyal Brahmana (RS Pura), was injured this afternoon when the bike he was going on, was hit by a Bolero car near J&K Bank at Panama Chowk. He was immediately shifted to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
A constable of J&K police was also injured when the scooty he was riding on, was hit by a truck at Belicharana area this morning. The injured cop identified as Sikander Kumar (30) son of late Isher Dass, was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
