JAMMU, Feb 8: At least two persons who were injured in separate road accidents succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College Jammu on Wednesday, police said.
They said one Bashir Ahmed (52) son of Ali Mohammad of Bari Khad, Bari Brahamana, was hit by a scooty at Barjani area today, resulting in injuries to the middle-aged man.
“He was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu where he breathed his last at around 11:15 am on Wednesday,” police said.
Meanwhile, one Usman Ramzan (20) son of Mohammad Ramzan of Banihal, who was hit by a car at Sidhra Pull on January 22, 2023, also succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday at Medical College Jammu.
Police have handed over the bodies of the deceased to their families after completing the legal formalities.
