JAMMU, June 8: The Government today ordered transfer and postings of two Inspector Generals of Police (IGPs).
According to an order issued by Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department, RK Goyal, Sham Lal Sharma, IGP CIV, Police Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as IGP State Human Rights Commission on deputation basis.
Alok Kumar, IGP, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as IGP Security, J&K, against an available vacancy.
