JAMMU, Apr 28: Two IAS officers from Jammu and Kashmir, AbidHussainSadiq and ZaffarIqbal, have been given important postings in Himachal Pradesh.

According to an order; Abid Hussain Sadiq, a 2014-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (HPPCL).
Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Commissioner of Bilaspur, Special Secretary (Forests), Deputy Commissioner of Kinnaur, and Director of Urban Development, besides holding the charge of CEO, Shimla Smart City. ZaffarIqbal, a 2017-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, Dharamshala.
