Two held with 9 kg ganja

JAMMU, Dec 9: Two persons were apprehended with 9 kg ganja by Janipur police.
A police team of police station Janipur while patrolling duty in Paloura area intercepted two persons on suspicion, last night. During their personal search, police party recovered 9 kg of ganja from their possession.
The accused identified as Prem Lal Begal son of Chand Ram Begal and Bharat Lal Sonvani son of Daharu Ram Sonavani, both resident of Chattisgarh (at present Vivek Vihar, Pamposh Colony, Janipur), were arrested on the spot.
In this regard, a case FIR No 106/2017 under relevant sections of law has been registered at police Station Janipur and further investigation of the case is going on.
The arrest and recovery was made a team headed by SHO police station Janipur, SI Bimal Indu, under the supervision of Deputy SP Hqrs, Raj Paul Singh and SP City North, Dr Vinod Kumar.
