JAMMU, Oct 20: In separate cases, two persons ended their lives by hanging themselves in Jammu.
“A 30-year-old man namely Sanjay son of Sadhu Ram, resident of Dhami (Nagrota) was found hanging from the hook of a ceiling fan at his home,” police sources said.
They further said that a 25-year-old boy namely Ankush Sharma son of Yashpal Sharma, resident of Bhajwal (Sunderbani) was found hanging from a tree with the help of rope at JDA park, near Trikuta Nagar, where he was presently living.
Sources said the dead bodies of both the deceased were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and after postmortem, handed over to their legal heirs for last rites.
Nagrota Police and Trikuta Nagar police had taken cognizance in both the cases.
