JAMMU, Mar 2: Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered from their possession 10.50 grams of heroin and Rs 20,500 as cash.
A police spokesperson said that a police team of Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh assisted by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq rounded up two suspects, Rupal Kumar and Sandeep Kumar of Bishnah, Jammu, at Village Bahadur Khan.
“During their search, 10.50 grams of heroin and Rs 20,500 cash was recovered,” said the police spokesperson.
The accused have been booked in case FIR number 54/2013 Under Sections 8/21/22/27-A/29/60 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigations taken up.
