JAMMU, Mar 2: At least five vehicles were challaned for illegal mining here in Jammu District today, police said.
They said that two dumpers were seized by Police Station Bishnah, two vehicles by Police Station Kahnachak, and one tractor trolley by Border Police Post Gajansoo.
“The vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order,” a police spokesperson said.
