JAMMU, Aug 5: Chatha Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Bhour Camp a team from Police Post Chatha led by SI Ranjit Singh Chib under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Sameer Jeelani intercepted a motorcycle bearing Registration Number JKO2CM 6248.
During checking, police team recovered 15.8 grams of heroin from the two persons riding on the motorcycle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Sachin Kumar, son of Somraj of Digiana Ashram and Rishav Sharma, son of Arvind Sharma of Lower Gadigarh.
A case FIR Number 135/2022 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
The whole operation was done under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma.
