JAMMU, Nov 19: Bahu Fort police arrested two drug peddlers along with heroin worth several thousands.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bahu Fort Police Station apprehended two drug peddlers along with eight grams of heroin worth several thousands.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Aslam, son of Fakar Din and Sadiq Ahmed, son of Abdul Gani, both residents of Kiryani Talab Narwal.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered against them at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Parvaz Sajad made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
