RAJOURI, Nov 19: The police seized 24 vehicles for over loading while more than 100 were challaned across Rajouri district under its ongoing drive against violators of traffic rules.
On the fifth day of its drive, teams of various Police Stations and Police Posts laid checking points on different routes of their jurisdiction and challaned 106 vehicles of different kinds.
Similarly, 24 vehicles of different types have been seized for violations across the district.
Seized vehicles include three in Manjakote, two in Nowshera, one in Sunderbani, thirteen in Rajouri and rest in other areas of the district.
Addl SP (HQrs) Rajouri Mohd Yousuf and ASP Nowshera, Master Popsy monitored the drive and have issued directions to all field officers to continue the pace of drive aimed for preventive road accident.
