Two die of COVID, 103 test +ve in Kashmir; 31 in Jammu

817 new cases in Ladakh

JAMMU.SRINAGAR/LEH, Dec 14: Two persons died of COVID-19 and 103 tested positive in Kashmir division today while 31 cases were reported from Jammu division and 17 in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Among 31 cases in Jammu region, 19 were registered in Jammu district alone followed by four each in Doda and Poonch districts, two in Kathua and one each in Udhampur and Rajouri districts.
As against 31 cases, 32 persons recovered from the virus.
Jammu region now has 1,25,665 Coronavirus cases. Out of them, 1,23,150 have recovered from the virus while there have been 2190 casualties and 325 active positive cases.
Casualties include 1154 in Jammu district followed by 238 in Rajouri, 152 Kathua, 138 Udhampur, 134 Doda, 120 Samba, 100 Poonch, 67 Ramban, 44 Kishtwar and 43 in Reasi districts.
All 17 cases in the Union Territory of Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 178 Coronavirus active positive cases including 164 in Leh district and 14 in Kargil.
Corona count in Ladakh stood at 21839. Among them, 21,445 have recovered while there were 216 casualties—158 in Leh and 58 in Kargil district.
