JAMMU, Dec 21: A two-day seminar organized on the role of yoga and naturopathy for total health concluded today at Central University of Jammu (CUJ).
The seminar was organized by CUJ in collaboration with Union Ministry of AYUSH. Minister for Health, Bali Bhagat graced the occasion while Dr DL Choudhary, SK Jain, Dr Chalotre and host of other dignitaries, who had come from distant places of the country, attended the seminar.
The eminent scholars and yoga experts delivered wisdom laden lectures that aroused awareness enlightenment and understanding among the participants.
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor, CUJ, Dr Ashok Aima, released the book titled “Womb to Tomb” written by Ajit Singh Nagra (retd principal). The book deals with ethical and human values. Some chapters cover the life sketches of illustrations of martyrs of J&K state including a chapter of History of Kashmir nutshell. Some chapters provide exhaustive information about the contribution of Sheikh Saadi, Dr Muham Iqbal and Shah Homadan.
