JAMMU, Jan 16: A two-day mega multi-specialty medical camp being organized by Rotary Club of Jammu Aastha and Aggarwal Dharamshala, Jammu in association with Medanta –The Medicity (A Multi Super Speciality Hopsital, Gurgaon, Haryana) commenced today.
Dr HR Tomar (Cardiology), Dr Sunil Yadav (Neurology), Dr Raman Kant Aggarwal (Senior Director) from Bone & Joints, Dr Jasveer Kour (Gynecology), Dr Krishna Soni (Diabetes), Dr Suruchi Gupta (Eye), Dr Manik Gupta (Dental) and Dr Monika K Goel (Physiotherapy) along with paramedic staff are rendering their services to patients and trying to raise awareness about diseases in their respective fields.
Besides providing consultations to the patients, various other services like Blood pressure check, blood sugar test, ECG & Echo cardiography, BMD, diet charts and physiotherapy services are being provided exclusively free of cost.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Sumil Goyal, president, Rotary Club, Surinder Bansal, Project Chairman, RCJA and officials from Rotary Club of Jammu Aastha and Aggarwal Sabha.
Today, around 275-300 people were benefited from the camp. Awareness about Health Insurance by Star health was also provided to all the visitors.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Ramankant Aggarwal, Dr HR Tomar and Project Coordinator, Medanta, Sudhanshu Sharma, introduced their organization such as in real quest to provide qualities’ innovative and imaginative range of services to the society at large and quite willing to offer their whole range of services at the doorsteps of public in general and that too on lowest possible affordable expenses.
Organizers of the camp intimated that the services of medical camp will be available tomorrow also from 10 am to 2 pm.
