SAMBA, Sept 1: Samba police has arrested two criminals, recovered one pistol and a live round in a case registered at Police Station Samba.
Police said on 30.08.2025, a written report was lodged at Police Station (PS) Samba by one Amit Padha son of Late Vipan Padha of village Diani tehsil and district Samba, stating therein that during the intervening night of 29/30.08.2025, one person namely Rohit Dogra son of Omkar Dogra of village Bara tehsil Vijaypur district Samba along with other unknown persons, opened fire upon him at village Diani, Samba.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 225/2025 U/S 109/126(2)/191(2)/351(2)/352 BNS & 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a police team of PS Samba has arrested the main accused Rohit Dogra and on his disclosure, one pistol was recovered. Furthermore, one of his associates namely Satish Kumar, son of Tilak Raj, R/o Madhera, Samba has also been arrested in the instant case. The Police has also recovered one live round from the scene of crime. Further investigation of the case is going on. The arrests were made under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Virinder Manhas.
