SRINAGAR, May 6: Police today said two bootleggers were arrested in Pampore area of Pulwama district and alcoholic drinks were recovered from their possession.
A police spokesman said acting on specific information, police recovered 96 bottles of beer from a Santro car bearing registration number JK13C-8077 driven by Bashir Ahmad Trumboo along with Younis Ahmad Wani at Frestabal in Pampore.
“The accused persons were arrested and a case FIR number 97/16 under section 50 excise act was registered in Police Station Pampore and investigation was taken up,” he added.
