UDHAMPUR, Aug 1: Two bootleggers were apprehended by police from Panthal near Katra and recovered 74 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from them.
On a specific information a party from Police Post Kakryal under the supervision of Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO Katra and overall supervision of SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar, laid a special naka at Panthal and apprehended two persons namely Ganesh Chander son of Sham Lal of Sarar Chenani, tehsil Chenani and Uttam Singh, son of Ramesh Kumar of Koi Nallah, Chenani tehsil and recovered 74 poly pouches from their possession. Case FIR No. 125/2015 under 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Katra and investigation is in progress.
