BHADERWAH, Aug 1: MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta today laid foundation stone of the Community Hall in Ronda village in the presence of Block Development Officer Bhaderwah, Tahir Malik in an impressive function organized by All J&K Guri Ravi Dass Sabha, here today.
The Community Hall would be constructed under Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of Mr Gupta.
While addressing the public gathering on the occasion, the MLC said that the upliftment of the downtrodden sections of the society is the need of the hour and blamed the present regime of neglecting the area.
He also called upon the people to adopt the teachings of great spiritual saint and Guru Ravi Dassji to lead a blissful life, maintaining that Guruji’s teachings are most relevant in today’s day to day life when the society is ridden with hatred and intolerance.
He said that Guruji throughout his life worked for the upliftment of poor and weaker sections of the society, adding that Guruji’s teachings of peace, harmony, love and compassion have great impact on the people and will continue to inspire the coming generations.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Shabir Ahmed Khan , Santh Ram Shaan, Shiv Kumar Kotwal, Ashok Sharma, Krishan Lal, Chuni Lal, Swami Raj and Kul Bhushan Kotwal.
