JAMMU, July 30: Police arrested two persons and rescued 14 bovine animals from their possession.
During the intervening night of July 29 and 30, police laid a naka on Ambaran Road in Akhnoor and arrested two persons identified as Mohd Manzoor son of Fareed and Mushtaq Ahmed son of Mohd Younis, both residents of Bale-da-Bagh (Akhnoor) with 14 bovine animals.
In this connection, a case Fir No 138/15 under Section 188 RPC 3 PCA Act has been registered against both the accused at police station Akhnoor.
The arrests were made by SHO Akhnoor, Inspector Pushpinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor, Naresh Singh and SSP Jammu, Rajiv Pandey.
