DODA, Jan 7: Thathri police arrested two persons and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on credible information, a team from Thathri Police Station laid a naka near grid station and apprehended two persons along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Mohan Lal and Suraj Singh, son of Lakmi Chand, both residents of Balwama.
A case under FIR Number 1/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Sunil Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah, Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
