Two arrested for trying to snatch bike by brandishing weapon

JAMMU, June 30: Kanachack Police arrested two persons for trying to snatch bike by brandishing sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Mohd Saleem, son of Abdul Rashid of Rajpura Tehsil Marh District Jammu with Police Station Kanachack stating that two persons identified as Sikander Singh, son of Veer Singh and Deepak Singh, son of Mohan Singh, both residents of Pargwal District Jammu tried to snatch his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02CU-4840 by threatening and brandishing a sharp edged weapon (toka).
Acting swiftly over the complaint, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal immediately swung into action and arrested both the accused.
A case under FIR Number 73/2022 under Sections 341, 382, 511 and 34 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act has been registered against the arrested persons at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
