JAMMU, Sept 6: Khour police arrested two brothers, who made murderous attempt on their real brother few days back in Budhwal area.
As per police sources, on September 1, Pappu Ram and Tara Chand, sons of Bhula Ram of Budhwal attacked their real brother Jang Bahadar with sharp edged weapons owing to some enmity.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he is undergoing treatment till today.
The accused escaped from the spot after committing the crime, whileas a case under FIR Number 64/15 under Section 307, 341 and 148 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered against them at Khour police station and manhunt was launched to nab the accused.
On specific information, police team from Khour police station today conducted a raid in Sua Number 1 area of tehsil Akhnoor and arrested both the accused brothers.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Khour police station SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajeev Pandey.
