MENDHAR, Sept 26: Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar, Rahul Yadav today charge-sheeted Tehsil Social Welfare Officer (TSWO), Superintendent of Nari Niketan and a clerk of Social Welfare Department.
Official sources said that action was taken by the SDM when he received complaint that Tehsil Social Welfare Office Mendhar was lying locked during mid day. Upon this, the SDM sent Naib Tehsildar, Tarif Hussain Shah and another official to the SWD office to verify the complaint.
The officials also found office locked and reported the matter to SDM. Upon this, the Sub Divisional Magistrate charge-sheeted these three employees and also forwarded report to the concerned directorate at Jammu for further departmental action. The officials penalized are, TSWO Mendhar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Champa Devi (Supt) attached to the office of TSWO Mendhar and Junior Assistant, Zaffar Iqbal. Their salary has also been with held.
