Trust sends 14th batch of yatris to Haridwar

JAMMU, May 6: The Swastik Charitable Trust has been organizing trips for Haridwar for such people/yatris who have not earlier visited the holy city of Haridwar. The main objective of the programme is to conduct a free Yoga Shivir and also to arrange Ganga Darshan for the devotees visiting Haridwar. Entire expenditures incurred during this trip i.e their to and fro journey expenses, boarding and lodging facilities, fooding etc shall be borne by the Trust itself.
The Trust has already decided to send 1008 such yatries to Haridwar under this programme batch wise on every Amavasya Parv on the similar terms and uptill now, it has dispatched 13 such batches to Haridwar, thus facilitating about 750 such yatries.
Today, the Trust has sent its 14th batch of yatris from Shakti Nagar, Jammu with amidst chanting of vedic hawan and with Hindu religious rituals which was performed by Pawan Kumar Shastri, president of the Trust witnessed by a large number of people’s including the relatives of the yatris who too were present on this occasion.
Gurdas Sharma, general secretary Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Trust, and Raj Kumar Gupta, Trustee were also present on this occasion.
Nirmal Sharma, Retd IAS was the chief guest on the occasion, who has flagged off the bus carying the devotees / yatris to Haridwar on this Amavasya.
The function was also attended by Sukhdev Sharma, W.C.M of Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Rajesh Kumar Rakwal Private Secretary to President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust and Raj Kumar, General Manager Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Jammu.
