JAMMU, Sept 22: A driver was arrested for rashly driving his truck and damaging a car in Channi Himmat.
As per police sources, a rashly driven truck bearing registration number JK02D-2709 hit a Wagon R car bearing registration number JK02W-8788 in Channi Himmat this morning.
On getting information, police team from Channi Himmat Police Station rushed to the spot and arrested the truck driver for rashly driving the vehicle and damaging the car.
The driver arrested has been identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Chajju Ram of Kheri, district Samba. In the collision between truck and car, no one received injuries.
A case under Section 279 RPC has been registered against the truck driver at Channi Himmat Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Channi Himmat Police Station Aejaz Wani made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq.
