JAMMU, Apr 20: The irate residents of TRT Buta Nagar held a demonstration today in protest against the water scarcity in the Camp. The protesters raising slogans against the authorities accused them of their total failure in restring the water supply to the camp.
The protesters said that even no steps have been taken for supplying pottable water through tankers in the camp and people are facing many hardships due to water scarcity in this hot temperature.
The protesters alleged for last 10 days they have been facing the water crisis and authorities are totally unmoved despite repeated pleas. They warned to intensify the agitation and resort to road blockade in case the water supply was not restored into the camp immediately.
