JAMMU, Nov 15: The inmates of TRT, Buta Nagar have expressed grave concern over the scarcity of drinking water in the camp.
In a statement issued here, today the representative of the camp, Ashok Dhar said that the camp inmates have been facing acute water scarcity and this problem has never been solved by the authorities concerned despite their repeated please. He said on the holy festival of Diwali yesterday the water supply could not be resumed to the camp due to the sang developed in the machinery.
The camp inmates have sought intervention of Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha in the matter and requested him to issue directives to concerned authorities to look into the matter so that the problem is solved once for all.
