JAMMU, May 2: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) today ordered transfer and postings of senior IAS officers.
Pradip Kumar Tripathi, an IAS officer of erstwhile J&K cadre and Secretary Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has been posted as Secretary, (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat.
Neel Kamal Darbari, Managing Director, Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare was posted as Chairperson, National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
S. Radha Chauhan, presently in the cadre, as Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions was posted vice Pradip Kumar Tripathi.
Devendra Kumar Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation has been transferred and posted as Secretary General, National Human Rights Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Gyanesh Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs was posted as Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation vice Devendra Kumar Singh. The officer will also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat was posted as Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
Sanjay Kumar, presently in the cadre was transferred and posted as Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
S K G Rahate, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power was posted as Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice.
Vijoy Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, was posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.
Atul Kumar Tiwari Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship was upgraded and posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Archana Agrawal, Member Secretary, National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs was posted as Member Secretary, National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Ganji Kamala V. Rao, Managing Director, India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. was posted as Managing Director, India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. The officer will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Director General (Tourism).
K Moses Chalai, Secretary, North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region was transferred and posted as Secretary, North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Arun Baroka, Additional Secretary Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti was posted as Special Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
The ACC has further approved the appointment of Alka Upadhyaya, Chairperson, National Highways Authority of India as Chairperson, National Highways Authority of India in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by restoring the post to Secretary level.
Meanwhile, Tarun Kapoor has been posted as Advisor to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, in the rank and scale of Secretary to Government of India, initially for a period of two years from the date of joining or until further orders, whichever is earlier, as per the usual terms and conditions as are applicable.
Hari Ranjan Rao, currently Administrator, Universal Services Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications was posted as Additional Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office for the balance tenure of his Central deputation or until further orders, whichever is earlier; and Atish Chandra, CMD, Food Corporation of India, Department of Food and Public Distribution was posted as Additional Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office for the remaining tenure of his Central deputation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
