KHOUR, May 29: A free distribution camp was organized by Saksham Parivar Zila Akhnoor (Khour) at Shiv Om Palace, New Bus Stand Khour, where tricycles and wheelchairs were distributed to the needy Divyangs.
As per a statement, the generous donation of 19 tricycles and 14 wheelchairs was made by J&K Bank. The function was presided over by Anil Kumar Thakur, SDM Khour.
Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Udheywala Jammu, the Tehsildar of Social Welfare Officer Akhnoor, the Zonal Manager and Manager of J&K Bank Khour and Chak Malal, among other officers graced the occasion as guests of honour.
Among the notable attendees were Avey Pargal, National Joint Secretary of Saksham, who provided detailed information about Saksham, Dr B D Sharma, Vice President of Saksham J&K, Sukhdev Singh, President of Saksham Zila Akhnoor (Khour), and others.
Dr Krishan Lal Bhagat attended the programme as special guest. Many Sarpanches, Panches, and intellectuals from the community were also in attendance.
Saksham Parivar Zila Akhnoor (Khour) welcomed all the dignitaries and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to them.
