JAMMU, Aug 19: BJP Kashmir Displaced District organized a function to pay tributes to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the valley while fighting with anti-national elements.
On the occasion, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC was the chief guest and Vibodh Gupta, BJP General Secretary (Prabhari BJP Kashmir) was guest of honour.
The programme started by lighting of the lamp by the chief guest in the memory of the martyrs.
In the event, the family of martyrs Ajay Bharti Pandita, Deepak Thusoo, Sanjay Koul and Havaldar ML Choudhary were honoured by chief guest and by other dignitaries.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion were BJP leader Ajay Bharti (Ex MLC), President BJYM JK UT Arun Dev Singh Jamwal, BJP KDD President Chand Ji Bhat, General Secretary BJYM Kapil Chib and President BJYM KDD Rahul Kaul.
While addressing, Vibodh Gupta remembered all the martyrs along with Lt Shyama Prasad Mukherjee who laid his life for the nation.
While remembering the supreme sacrifice of our martyrs, Chander Mohan Gupta said the sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain and the time of resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley respectfully is not so far now.
The whole programme was organized by Rahul Bhat and Aman Kapoor while Sunny Tickoo, Vice President BJYM KDD and Shreya held the dais gracefully.
In the end, vote of thanks was given by Rahul Kaul.
